The Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS 396 is a no-compromise rotisserie restoration that blends factory-correct style with serious performance upgrades.
Finished in Code 72 Hugger Orange basecoat/clearcoat, the body was taken to bare metal and restored with excellent gaps, crisp lines, and a deep show-quality shine. Chrome, brightwork, and correctly etched glass complete the authentic RS/SS appearance.
Inside, the deluxe houndstooth interior adds an upscale muscle feel. The factory tach and gauges are fully functional (including the low fuel light), and the rosewood steering wheel finishes off the driver-focused cockpit. Even the trunk is properly detailed with correct decals, hardware, space-saver spare, and jack assembly.
Power comes from a built 396 featuring a forged 427 crank, H-beam rods, high-compression pistons, L56 rectangular-port heads, Winters intake, Holley carburetor, and Lunati hydraulic roller cam. Cooling is handled by a 4-core radiator, and the engine bay retains a clean, correct-style presentation.
Backing it is a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission, professionally installed without cutting the floors, allowing comfortable highway cruising at low RPM. A 12-bolt rear with 3.73 gears and upgraded axles puts the power down confidently.
Underneath, the car is highly detailed with stainless fuel and brake lines, stainless tank and exhaust, powder-coated components, and a properly finished matte black floor.
